Adding large weather widgets to your iPhone's Home Screen provides at-a-glance access to current conditions and forecasts, enhancing your daily planning. Here's how to set them up:

1. Add a Large Weather Widget to Your Home Screen

  • Enter Jiggle Mode: Touch and hold an empty area on your Home Screen until the apps start to jiggle.

  • Access the Widget Gallery: Tap the plus (+) icon in the top-left corner.

  • Select the Weather Widget: Scroll through the list or use the search bar to find "Weather."

  • Choose the Large Size: Swipe through the available sizes and select the large widget, which displays detailed weather information.

  • Add the Widget: Tap "Add Widget," then position it on your Home Screen.

  • Exit Jiggle Mode: Tap "Done" in the top-right corner.

2. Customize the Weather Widget

  • Edit Widget Settings: Touch and hold the weather widget until a quick actions menu appears.

  • Select "Edit Widget": Choose this option to adjust settings such as the location displayed.

  • Choose Location: Tap "Location" and select your current location or another area to view its weather.

  • Exit Editing: Tap outside the widget to save your changes.

3. Add a Weather Widget to Your Lock Screen

With iOS 16 and later, you can add widgets directly to your Lock Screen for immediate access:

  • Access Lock Screen Customization: Touch and hold your Lock Screen until the customization options appear.

  • Tap "Customize": This allows you to modify your Lock Screen.

  • Add Widgets: Tap the "Add Widgets" area below the clock.

  • Select the Weather Widget: Choose the large weather widget to display detailed forecasts.

  • Position the Widget: Drag it to your preferred location on the Lock Screen.

  • Save Changes: Tap "Done" to apply the new Lock Screen setup.

4. Manage Widget Stacks

To save space and access multiple widgets:

  • Create a Stack: Touch and hold a widget, then drag it on top of another widget to create a stack.

  • Add More Widgets: Continue stacking up to 10 widgets.

  • Edit the Stack: Touch and hold the stack, select "Edit Stack," and reorder or remove widgets as needed.
