Adding multiple locations to your iPhone's Weather widget allows you to stay informed about weather conditions in various areas. Here's how to set it up in under five minutes:

1. Add Locations to the Weather App

To begin, ensure that the Weather app includes all the locations you're interested in:

  • Open the Weather App: Launch the Weather app on your iPhone.

  • Access the Locations List: Tap the list icon at the bottom right corner to view your current locations.

  • Add a New Location: Tap the plus (+) icon, enter the city or area name in the search bar, select the desired location from the results, and tap "Add" to include it in your list.

Repeat this process for each location you want to monitor.

2. Add the Weather Widget to Your Home Screen

Next, place the Weather widget on your Home Screen for quick access:

  • Enter Jiggle Mode: Touch and hold an empty area on your Home Screen until the apps begin to jiggle.

  • Access Widgets: Tap the plus (+) icon in the top-left corner to open the widget gallery.

  • Select the Weather Widget: Scroll through the list or use the search bar to find the Weather widget.

  • Choose Widget Size: Swipe to select your preferred widget size (small, medium, or large) and tap "Add Widget."

  • Position the Widget: Drag the widget to your desired location on the Home Screen.

  • Exit Jiggle Mode: Tap "Done" in the top-right corner to save your changes.

3. Configure the Weather Widget to Display Multiple Locations

Customize the widget to show weather information for different locations:

  • Edit the Widget: Touch and hold the Weather widget on your Home Screen until a quick actions menu appears.

  • Select "Edit Widget": Tap "Edit Widget" from the menu.

  • Choose Locations: In the widget settings, tap "Location" and select "My Locations." This will display weather information for all the locations you've added to the Weather app.

  • Enable Smart Rotate (Optional): For a dynamic experience, you can enable Smart Rotate. This feature rotates through your locations based on factors like time of day and your activity. To do this, ensure that "Smart Rotate" is turned on in the widget settings.

  • Exit Settings: Tap outside the widget to return to your Home Screen.

4. Add Multiple Weather Widgets (Optional)

If you prefer to have separate widgets for each location:

  • Add Additional Widgets: Repeat the process of adding a Weather widget to your Home Screen for each location.

  • Configure Each Widget: For each widget, follow the editing steps to set the specific location it should display.

By following these steps, you can efficiently monitor weather conditions in multiple locations directly from your iPhone's Home Screen.
