How to Stack Weather Widgets on Your iPhone Home Screen

Stacking weather widgets on your iPhone's Home Screen allows you to view multiple forecasts without cluttering your display. Here's a step-by-step guide to set up and customize weather widget stacks:

1. Add Weather Widgets to Your Home Screen

  • Enter Jiggle Mode: Touch and hold an empty area on your Home Screen until the apps start to jiggle.

  • Access Widget Gallery: Tap the '+' icon in the top-left corner to open the widget selection menu.

  • Select Weather Widget: Scroll or search for the Weather widget.

  • Choose Widget Size: Swipe through the available sizes (small, medium, large) and tap 'Add Widget' to place it on your Home Screen.

2. Create a Widget Stack

  • Add Another Weather Widget: Repeat the steps above to add another Weather widget of the same size.

  • Stack the Widgets: Drag the new widget on top of the existing one until you see a faint outline, then release to create a stack.

  • Add More Widgets: You can add up to 10 widgets to a single stack.

3. Customize the Widget Stack

  • Edit Stack: Touch and hold the stack, then tap 'Edit Stack'.

  • Rearrange Widgets: Drag the three horizontal lines next to a widget to change its position within the stack.

  • Enable/Disable Smart Rotate: Toggle 'Smart Rotate' to allow iOS to automatically display the most relevant widget based on factors like time of day and location.

  • Remove a Widget: Swipe left on a widget within the stack and tap 'Delete' to remove it.

4. Interact with the Widget Stack

  • View Widgets: Swipe up or down on the stack to cycle through the widgets.

  • Open App: Tap a widget to open the corresponding app.

5. Additional Tips

  • Smart Stack: For automatic widget rotation based on your activity, add a Smart Stack by selecting it from the widget gallery.

  • Remove a Widget Stack: Touch and hold the stack, then tap 'Remove Stack' to delete it.

By stacking weather widgets, you can efficiently monitor multiple locations or forecasts without overwhelming your Home Screen.
