1. Enable Critical Alerts on iOS Devices

On iPhones and iPads, certain weather apps can send "Critical Alerts" that bypass DND settings. To activate this feature:

  • Install a Compatible App: Choose a weather app that supports Critical Alerts.

  • Grant Necessary Permissions: During setup, allow the app to send Critical Alerts.

  • Verify Settings: Navigate to Settings > Notifications > [App Name] and ensure "Allow Critical Alerts" is enabled.

This setup ensures that severe weather warnings, such as tornado or severe thunderstorm alerts, will sound even if your device is muted or in DND mode.
