1. Accessing the Weather App

The Weather app is pre-installed on iPads running iPadOS 16 or later. To open it:

  • Locate the Weather app icon on your Home Screen.
  • Tap the icon to launch the app.

2. Setting Up Location Services

For accurate, location-based weather updates, enable Location Services:

  • Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services.
  • Ensure Location Services is toggled on.
  • Scroll down to Weather and select While Using the App or Always to allow the app to access your location.

3. Adding Locations

To check weather conditions in different areas:

  • Open the Weather app.
  • Tap the Sidebar icon (three horizontal lines) in the top-left corner.
  • Tap the Add button (+) to search for a city or location.
  • Enter the name of the desired location and select it from the search results.
  • Tap Add to include it in your list.

  • Open the Weather app and access the Sidebar.
  • Tap Edit List.
  • To rearrange, drag the three lines next to a location up or down.
  • To remove, tap the red minus sign next to the location and confirm by tapping Delete.

  • Touch and hold an empty area on your Home Screen until the apps jiggle.
